Tata Group comes to rescue again

Tata Group comes to rescue again, to hire laid off workers from Meta, Amazon and Twitter with 800 positions at Jaguar Land Rover.

The Tata Group reacted quickly during this ongoing layoff crisis, announcing 800 positions for techies through a dedicated portal and prioritizing digital talent which was let go by major software companies such as Meta, Twitter and Amazon.

In 2016, Ratan Tata saved thousands of jobs in the UK by investing more than $1 billion in the Port Talbot steel factory.

Tata has had a long history of promoting employee well-being and they were also recognized in 1947 for setting up a dedicated personnel department, much before the same was adapted by majority of Indian Corporates.

And for implementing a separation policy that provided salary and perks to employees who stayed until they reached retirement age.

Recently, the Tata Group also prevented the closure of ailing Air India Limited, preventing thousands of job cuts.
